Scottish Community Tourism Group
Scotland Alive is the public face of the Scottish Community Tourism Group (SCTG) which provides a variety of support services for the people, places, events and activities that are the true grass (or heather) roots of that legendary Scottish hospitality. SCTG aims to establish a network of local Community Tourism Groups to cover the whole of Scotland. These groups are individually autonomous but share support, ideas and a collective voice through SCTG. Once the preliminary network has been established, further information will be available here but, in the meantime, we can answer a few questions (click on a question to go to the relevant page). • What is "Community Tourism"? • Do you have a local tourism self-help group? • Do you wish to set up a Local Community Tourism Group? • What are the benefits of joining a Local Community Tourism Group? • What are the costs of joining a Local Community Tourism Group? • Who should join Local Community Tourism Groups? • What services are provided by the Scottish Community Tourism Group? |
